So I just changed my plugs at 42k miles on my 11 wrx. Before the change I was having some random misfires in #4 and some increased oil consumption which I don't know if that was related or not. But anyways the other day I had a CEL for another misfire and a big loss in power I noticed. I stopped the car cleared the code with my AP. Car had a hard time starting back up but eventually did and away I went.
Now upon changing the plugs and my initial startup after I had a great big cloud of white smoke that smelled of burnt oil which I assume it was. I figured maybe I had a good bit of unburnt fuel and stuff in there so I didn't think much about it as it disappeared rather quickly.
But now I've cold started my car 3-4 times since then and im still getting the big plume of smoke. Any ideas as to why would be great! Oh and btw the plugs used were ngk irridiums

Yea, pull the # 4 plug back out and do a compression test.

Well I decided to put the car back to stock tonight and when doing so I realized that my AOS was not installed correctly but I do not know if that could have been causing my issues as I've been running it for a while.
Wheni uninstalled my AP started the car and no smoke, took it for a spin and all seemed fine it was hitting about 13psi which if I remember correctly is about right for stock.
Not really sure what to do, I guess just drive it stock for a while?

put the AP on and not the AOS and restart and drive it and see what happens.
odds are the AOS was dumping oil somewhere it wasn't supposed to and it pooled on start and blew out exhaust.
is it a grimmspeed AOS?

Yes it is a grimmspeed AOS. I'm gonna drive two or three days on the stock map then flash just a stage one map on and see how it goes from there

I'm gonna guess it was definitely that AOS. Why do people buy that thing? It literally does more harm than good, it put's all the crap back into the system.
