hey guys, need your input on a tire width.
my new wheels are 18x7.5, +48mm offset and currently have 225/40/18 tires that will need replacing. I'm looking at a good deal on a set of 4 Goodyear Eagle F1 AS 235/40/18. Since the new tires will be 8 mm's taller & 10 mm's wider, will this new size cause any rubbing issues on the fenders and suspension at all. I'm also sitting on 1.5 inch drop coils.
thanks for any info

i have 235/40/18 on my 04 sti stock ride height and the rears rub ever so gently on the inside of the 1/4s. im in the process of rolling the lip inside the 1/4s now so i wont rub. So i would guess yes with a 1.5 drop
