Was thinking about powder coating my rims. I have heard about plastic dip also. Was wondering what you think. Have 18" 2013 bbs stock STI rims. I like the gunmetal look but my brakes keep them dirty. Have some minor curb rash (was a fun winter) witch they can buff out got quote for under 400 with same day turn around.

Quality from worst to best goes : plasti dip > paint > powder. Plasti dip can be removed later if you want which is a plus for it but powder will always be the highest quality and most durable finish for wheels.

i have 4 - 5 layers of anthracite plastidip on my wheels and only one just started to peel slightly on the lip of the rim. im surprised they still look good through this crappy of a winter. since my buddy and i do powder coating, i plan on going that route in the spring.
