I am looking at throwing on some general grabber at2 tires on my impreza. i know i will probably need to lift it a bit but i was wondering if the tires will fit the wheel. Normal tire is 205/55 16 and the closest size grabber tire is 215/65 16. any input is welcome. thanks

dkdunn04, aren't those the same tires you had on yours?

That's the size I had on mine, but I had a GD, and there was some suspension work done. I'm pretty sure you will at least need to put some spacers on there. Check out dirtyimpreza.com and search the GR suspension section to see what will work.

So I ended up buying the subtle solutions 1" lift kit paired with a 1/4" saggy butt spacer in the front and 3/8" in the rear for a total of 1 1/4" in the front and 1 3/8" in the rear. I will also end up gettin the grabber tires shortly after the install.

I was also wondering if adding the spacers will affect camber at all, or since the it's just the body being lifted camber won't be an issue?

I haven't ever lifted an impreza, but my rule is you want an alignment anytime you change something with the suspension. And if I understand macpherson strut geometry correctly, increasing the hub to fender height (i.e. lifting the car) should increase positive camber. And then on our cars, toe changes with camber, so that'd give you some extra tire wear.

What would you suggest to alleviate that? Would camber bolts do the trick?

You might be okay with just the stock ones. Otherwise, camber bolts are fine. Follow the guide on nasioc, and be careful who aligns your car. EDIT: nasioc guide
