Hey guys, Not sure how many of you have been on the vingotmein.com site or even uploaded videos there. It's a site for a contest backed by Subaru, and you have to have a Subaru vin# to get on.
I put a few on the site under the name countrySTi. They're nothing special compared to some of the videos, and this was the first time I've tried to edit a video. Check it out, and give me a wrench if you like what you see!

99.99% of those videos sucked rhinoceros balls.
Also, watching some of those people beat the hell out of brand new cars.....that's exactly why I refuse to buy a used car ever again.
I wish I would have known about this when they were still taking entries. I could have produced something if one of the guys here wanted to flog their car to get a sweet video, lol.
Still, kudos to you for taking the time to do it, and BTW you are not under the name CountrySTi, all the videos are under the first name of the person who submitted. So, yours are under the name Nathan.

Good to know on the name! Yeah, a lot of those guys were really putting a beating on their cars. For me, this was the hardest I've driven this car, and do not intend on doing this very often. I'm not that big a fan on smelling my brakes when I open my door  |

Yeah, I would say an occasional spirited romp through the back roads is no big deal, plus I'm more talking about the guys with '13 and '14 WRXs that were driving them like full thoroughbred rally cars. I love my car, but I know for sure it won't handle the kind of abuse an STi will. I want my car to last a while, so I just can't see beating on it like that.
The one guy who had like 114 wrenches definitely had his car built to handle the kind of driving he was doing in that video. That was pretty cool to watch. Then you click on a video of a guy with a bone stock '13 WRX and he tries drifting it around in a dry parking lot.........FACEPALM.
