Started on my audio build yesterday. I'm ripping all the factory audio out and replacing it with a custom setup.
The head unit will be replaced by a Nexus 7 and internet powered by FreedomPop. Tablet runs into an LC8 audio processor on the main. Aux input will have a Bluetooth module for hands free. Processor runs into an undecided 900W/5Channel amp. Amp is powering 2 Kenwood Excelon 12" sub's and the speakers, which I haven't picked out yet. The sub box and amp rack I'm having custom built.Part of the project will be displaying a backup camera to the tablet.
Right now I'm just buying pieces but will post pics when stuff starts going in.

I thought about using a Nexus 7 as the head unit for a long time - you'll have to let me know how it works, and how it holds up in the winter!

I've left my Nexus in the car when it's cold, it's just a bit sluggish until it gets warm.
I'm making a custom Subaru boot splash animation for the tablet instead of the lame ass Nexus one too. Hopefully everything ends up as cool as planned.

Can't flash Windows AFAIK. If you just want to log, there is a Linux client for rom raider.
