This idea popped up earlier in the year, then we all got involved in the install days every weekend and the Scoobapalooza. Now that we are in some calmer waters I say we get back to planning this one out. I'm going to put some options below and if you have any to add speak up.
1. Carlyle Lake (1.5/2 hrs away, camping, "beach" area, cheap boat rental) 2. Babler State Park 3. Huzzah/Steelville/Cuba locations 4. 5. 6.

I'm down for Carlyle lake but it's way more than an hour away from you. It's like 40 minutes away from me and I'm closer than you.

Actually I think you're right. When I lived in Bridgeton it was an hour. Now probably 1.5ish. My bad my bad!

Lake Carlyle is 1.25 hours from me - I'm down. Let's make it for cooler weather though, after next weekend I'll have had my fill of dehydration camping for the year.

There is fishing errwhere! I mean we could always head to table rock and what not too. I just love Carlyle cause I basically grew up on that lake.

I'm talking about a fire that takes 40 minutes to build (as we all saw from the bbq fiasco and how long it took to actually get that going lol), and sunburnt days at the beach and renting a boat maybe, tying a tube to the back and just hanging out. BAM

You can start a fire in seconds with a blowtorch...

I can talk to my uncle and maybe we can use my farm. Then we can use firearms and and literally shoot the shit.

I've got 120 acres in the Bonne Terre area. There's also a 7 acre lake and a bunch of John boats if people want to fish (plenty of Crappie, Bass, and Bluegill. Plus, I'm kind of a firearms fanatic, so I have a pseudo "shooting pit" with steel plates, and I have a large assortment of guns (32ish) to choose from. I know it's kind of a drive for some of you, but it's at least a far fetched option. The property is about 45 minutes from St Louis. P.s. You can't really tell from the picture, but everything behind the camera is well manicured and there's plenty of large clearings for tents. As well as a pavilion for cooking and eating at. The pavilion has a fire pit right next to it. There's also a large bonfire that I could build up if I had time to get out there and get on the tractor.

^ ERMAHGERD!!!
I'd be down for that if you'd be down for that. Don't want to impose though. We are a bunch of Subaru drivers after all.
Not sure exactly what that has to do with it but, ya know.
