crazytaxi: Cobalt used to be a great brand until they did the same thing. They removed much of the cobalt from the steel alloy and the tools became brittle. Jul 8, 2014 19:17:46 GMT -6

Ok, as long as you are able to meet up, we will be gathering at the original Meeting Point: MotoMart off 370.
Time will be the same. If snow doesn't show we will run the regular route. If snow comes we have alternate routes in mind are close, centrally located, not too far from help if needed. The Golden Eagle Ferry IS a toll Ferry. If you are following the full route you will need to purchase a "Round Trip" pass = $15.00 in CASH.

BTW, MotorMart does have 93 octane for those of us in need.

Yes. While I have SEEN some low cars make it onto the ferry, I do not assume responsibility if you made an attempt and damage occurred. On one of the cruises to Alton we had a lot of cars at various heights and all made it without issue. The river level really changes the angle that the ramp is so it's hard to say. If you have questions regarding your ride height ask away.

I think last time we did this route I had my car about as low as my coil over conversion thing would let me go which is about an inch and a half and I didn't have any problems. That may or may not be any help to anyone.

I just saw that too. We will have to keep an eye on it and if we see that the weather is too bad or if the ferry is closed we will have to have an alternate idea.

spartacus, if it's snowing we probably wouldn't do an install day. We can always hang out after the cruise. Maybe grab some food.
