Hey guys, I was planning on getting the SLP loudmouth exhaust on my car next week. This would be basically a muffler delete. Was wondering if you guys think I would need a tune for this. When I took the axle back off I noted that my car was not hitting peak boost. Only about 15-16 lbs (going off the gage, not AP) What you guys think?
Also here is a video of the car with no Axle back with a Catted DP.

I'm not a tuner, but everybody I've ever talked to says catback/axleback exhaust has no effect on the tune.
Having said that, I do feel like I noticed a difference when I took my axleback off to test the loudness. I feel like it ran a bit rougher, but I could have just been imagining it.
I also can't imagine why in the world everybody says the catback or axleback doesn't make a difference. Every other car on the planet sees a change in the way the car runs when you change the exhaust, I don't know why our cars would be different. Especially something as drastic as deleting the mufflers.
My $.02 is that you don't NEED to tune for it, but you might be happier with the results, and/or make the most of it, if you did tune for it.
