For the shots posted here, all were shot with one of the following: Camera(s): Canon 1D Mark II (Dead) Canon 60D Canon XTi Lenses: Canon 70-200mm F/2.8L Canon 100-400 F/4.6-5.6L Canon 300mm F/2.8L Canon 24-105 F/4L Canon 500mm F/4L Canon 50mm F/2.4 Computer: 27'' iMac Editing Software: Adobe Photoshop CS6 Alien Skin Exposure 5 Alien Skin Blow Up 3 Camera Bits Photo Mechanic 5 Nik Color Efex Pro 4 Nik Sharper Pro 3 Nik Dfine 2 Topaz Labs Detail Topaz Labs Adjust Topaz Labs Denoise Topaz Labs Star Effects what happened to the 1d? full frame is where it's at. i hate shooting with crop sensors. 1D is still crop sensor... 1Ds/x are full frame. Although crop sensor is good for a little extra reach with telephoto stuff. Josh those Lambo pics are sweet.

Processor and Motherboard fried themselves, Cannon recommended it wasn't worth fixing and to purchase a new one as it would cost roughly $1,500 to repair.

Thanks David, I have received a few offers from teams and media outlets to provide coverage for GrandAM, INDYCAR and USCR events. Shit is about to start getting real.. fast.

This is nonsense. I have no affiliation with, nor am I made by, Canon. All of those Lamborghini photos came off of the XTi... Its a perfect back-up/secondary and is my choice for Rally Events since its not as expensive to replace as the 60D. Starting to save for two new cameras for next year.

Clearly my attempt at humor went directly over your head.
Anywho, I shoot mainly video and I use a 7D with Canon 35mm f/1.4L as my back-up/secondary camera. I shoot with a C100 and a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L.
My dad and uncle are photogs and are Nikon guys. They use a D4 and D800 respectively with about $20k worth of Nikon glass in their studio, and they both love them.
Your pics are scary good, BTW.

Kind of out of it still, I finally got some sleep last night but I leave for Rally America's Ojibwe Forest Rally tomorrow morning and it going to be another 5 days of little to zero sleep. Thanks for the complement!

Loving the long exposure on the night photo -- that is a really, really cool effect. Do you think you could hit a flash right at the beginning or the end of the exposure to get the car, but also the headlight lines?

Do you think you could hit a flash right at the beginning or the end of the exposure to get the car, but also the headlight lines? I was with all of the other Rally America photographer at this corner and we ALL attempted to flash in order to get the car, the problem was that it was so dusty and dark that the flash just kind of muddied up the shot and didnt really produce enough light needed. We all resorted to long exposures without flashes for the most part.
