Alright, let's get back into the swing of things and start back up with the monthly cruises. Let's all give KBomb a hand with planning the last cruise. Heard it was a blast and I really wish I would have been there (just driving way ahead or way behind Kevin's car, lol). So since June is basically gone, let's plan a July cruise. Considering that I will be driving to Chicago and back I may ride with someone so that I can get some more GoPro footage and what not. Maybe get a video going for this here site. We have some new members since we traveled down to Washington last, and so I'm half way tempted to go and run that route again. We won't be eating at the Landing, that's for sure. But there are plenty of good places to eat at. If the water is down by then we can park in the same place we usually do and then walk up to the eatery from there (after some pictures of course). Also, there are no boats that you need to worry about boarding, Derrick. ATTENDEES:

do you have a google map of the route?
i drove out the 44 and back through wildwood and stuff and had a great time there...i'm sure off those roads there's some good roads.
if we are planning a LONG distance i need a place to fill up with E. i can do it before we leave, but i get like 14mpg, so pending length i may need to do it again.
20/21 works best for me i think.

If we decide to do it on Saturday, I would need to do the afternoon start since I work till Noon on Saturday now. If it is the week of 20-21 I am DJ'ing a show in The Lake of the Ozarks, so I was thinking if it is on Saturday we could do a cruise in that direction if people were interested. Also, if it is on Sunday I could meet up with you guys on my way back. If it is that weekend then I hope my dog enjoys cruises because she may be ridding with me, ha.

I'm gonna keep things going the way they always have by saying I want to make this, knowing full well that something will happen and I probably won't make it. lol.
So far, the only one I actually could have gone to got cancelled due to epic snow.
All that said, I'm in for the 27 or 28 at 11am!

at what pace are the cruises usually ran at? I would like to get some more use out of the rally car but it is most likely the slowest out of every one else attending. I don't want to hold any one up if I'm in the middle of the pack, or fall behind if I'm at the end.

Close to the speed limits, at a spirited pace, if that makes any sense. For my cruises I try not to put anyone in a position where they will be pulled over for speeding or be pushed to a pace that they are not comfortable with. Additionally, I usually try and stop and the major intersections until we have all caught up and can proceed forward. Most of these roads are pretty straight forward. Twist and turns that, while taken at 30-45 mph, can still be a blast.
